Founded in 1973, National Karate has been helping people achieve their goals for 40 years! With schools in Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Colorado NK is the largest martial arts organization in the Midwest, and one of the strongest and most recognized martial arts organizations in America. Is your location strictly for adults, or can kids participate as well? Students must be at least 4 years old to begin and currently our oldest student is 79 years old. Children and Adults are typically separated with their own classes but we do offer a “family class” with parents and children together. What was the inspiration to start or run this business? To help people achieve their goals of becoming more confident, safe, self-disciplined and healthy. What do you love most about your job? Working with people and sharing how the martial arts can improve the lives of our students.
